Diabetes Awareness & Screening Camps

Diabetes awareness is not at a desired level among the village population. Hence CDC & RC has taken the initiative of increasing the awareness about diabetes among the ruural population in chengalpattu & nearby villages.
Monthly free diabetes awareness & blood testing camps have been conducted in centre premises.

Diabetes awareness and detection camps were conducted involving the local health authority and various NGO groups/local panchayat heads. About 184 diabetic camps have been conducted in the villages.
